Default Visions...

"And lo,
As I did look upon him,
The God of Death did reveal his true face,
And I knew fear like no other,
For this was the visage of Grenth,
Terrible to behold."

This was a doodle that went rampant. I was rather pleased with it and decided other people in the community might appreciate it, so here you are. I might work on some more later.
I had the idea that perhaps Grenth's skull was just a mask, so I went ahead and gave him a more human face, based upon a Greko-Romano theme. I found it curious that all the other God's had human semblence apart from him. Now he has one.

Good drawing.

I don't think you captured his heartless justice in the face though.

I opted for cold, quiet amusement. I guess if he wanted to be creepy he'd keep the mask on
It's also kind of ironic since most necromancer's (males really) have the most messed up faces ever and yet their god seems rather handsome. Gods get all the perks and none of the flaws, don't they?

bad...i dont want him to be a pretty boy. i want him to be a skeleton with long ragged bones and occasionally makes simple commands in a low, booming voice.

Well luckily Arenanet doesn't share my vision, so you're good. I probably wouldn't have bothered otherwise.

Very nice. The texture of the paper also complements the sketchy-ness of the picture itself. The form is great as well as your lines are confident. The mask kind of takes away from the grenth-ness/evilness as someone said similarly earlier. I see him sort of like a grim reaper. Though with a humanized face, I imagine him with very cold eyes, sunken in cheek areas -- you know, a grim appearance! Lovely sketch, thanks for sharing.

At first he looks like some cute pushover. But with the lack of pupils and such, it looks like he's got that whole "mindless silent stalker" theme going.

Nice work.
